This Prompt to Play is another short, sweet, and simple one for you to easily incorporate play into your daily life!
The Prompt is to go off your beaten path and discover something new!
Whether the beaten path is the one you always take a walk on, drive home on, or drive to errands on - take a new route. Turn left instead of right. Go down a new road because there was a pretty flower, or an interesting house. Chances are it won’t add more than a few minutes to your route, and you’ll discover something new! This will bring you into a state of wonder and curiosity, and out of monotony.
Play is all about doing something for the sake of doing it, getting immersed in the moment, and coming into a state of wonder, curiosity, and improvisation about what could happen next.
