Today’s Prompt to Play is to do a cartwheel!
Or, more realistically, any other form of silly movement you feel safe to do in your body.
Do it! Right now! 10 seconds!
Jiggle your arms and legs and make a silly sound! Spin in a circle! Skip around the room singing “We’re off the See the Wizard” or “Skip to my Lou!”
Just some silly form of movement to feel like a kid again.
Did you do it?
Great! Now have fun integrating that into small moments of your life like when you’re doing dishes, brushing your teeth, or excited about something! If something exciting happens this week let yourself bounce up and down with a “hip, hip, hooray!”
Yay! Please feel free to take a listen to the the brief audio attached to this post for the full prompt, and a bit of the research behind the benefits of allowing yourself some silly movement play :)
Have a great weekend everyone!
Playfully,
Ellen
